Ice Road King Season 5 - Ice Road Truckers
The JustTruckers Community Ice Road Truckers Poll for Season 5
is Complete!
With the votes all tallied
and the count all in, it is clear that the Voters in the JustTruckers
Community enjoy the Ice road Truckers show and the cast. And, it's also
clear that the majority of the Voters tend to lean towards experience
on the show which leads to giving an IRT expereinced Celebrity driver
an edge over the Season 5 Rookies, Dave
Redmon and Maya Sieber.
Then again, this may be because we have seen little of Dave and Maya on
the road so far this year. The episodes have mainly revolved around Lisa Kelly, Alex Debogorski, and Hugh Rowland, with Rick Yemm gaining some extra
exposure as Hugh's running mate.
Lisa Kelly has been
favorited as the Ice Road King
througout much of the duration of the poll. Alex Debogorski has given her a run
for her money inching ahead of Lisa briefly and then falling back to
the second slot. Hugh Rowland
has worked his way into the third position and remained a close threat
to the leaders.
It's probably also fair to say that since this season there are two
teams the vote may have been slightly skewed with the new adventures in
both Alaska and Canada. The Carlile
team is burning up the Dalton highway in Alaska as usual. Lika Kelly, Maya Sieber, Dave Redmon, and Tony Moleski man the Carlile trucks while Hugh Rowland, Alex Debogorski, and Rick Yemm are busy on the ice roads
in remote Canada and working to make the Canadian team a winner this

It's going to be interesting to see how our voters fare as the
season progresses and the Ice Road King is officially made known.
Another interesting factor is that we have heard mention on the show
that one of the "Rookies", either Maya Sieber or Dave Redmom ends their
ice road journey early. So in fairness we cannot announce the 6th place
this season in our poll until we know more.
We will also update information on the page as the season goes along
and we know more about how well our community did in picking their Ice
Road King winner for Season 5 of IRT on the History Channel.
